Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage—also known as deep muscle therapy or neuromuscular therapy—is a combination of specific bodywork that includes trigger point therapy geared towards relieving acute pain and/or chronic pain. Utilizing moderate to firm pressure, our massage therapists apply a variety of techniques directly to areas of pain where adhesions have formed in the muscles, tendons and ligaments.

Adhesions, or scar tissue, block the circulation of blood, decrease the range of motion and cause pain. Removing adhesions can relieve pain, stimulate the natural healing process and restore normal movement patterns.
